For we do not want you to be uniformed brethen, about the affliction and oppressing distress which befell us in the province of Asia,how we were so utterly and unbearably weighed down and crushed that we despaired of even life itself.Indeed we felt within ourselves that we had recived the very sentence of death,but that was to keep us trusting and depending on ourselves instead of God who raises the dead .For it is He who rescues and saves us from such a perilious death , and He will still rescue and save us. In and on Him we have set our hope and our joyful and confident expectation tht he will again deliver us from danger and destruction and draw us to Himself. 2 Cor1:8-10 Amp.
This is a remarkable piece of Apostle’s Paul autobiography. The question that comes to mind as we read the story of this great man of God is Why does God sometimes delivers His own people from Persecution and other times not? Why does He allow His chidren suffer difficulties? Why did He allow Stephen and James to be martyed, but supernaturally got Peter out of Jail the night before his excution? The questions could go and on, and i will by the grace of God do an indepth write up on this later .
Very often in times of great difficulty and trials, we are so quick to conclude something definetly has gone wrong, and the thoughts of been deserted by the Lord floods the mind.Apostle Paul does not stand alone in this , at one time or the other in our lives we can identify with such experience. There has been an on going work of God in my life of late that has brought me to the same palce i believe this Apostle found himself.
Paul said , we had the sentence of death in ourselves, we came to the end of ourselves, literarily, he was saying we came to the point of no more trust or belive in our abilities wisdom and strenght. Death was at work in us . Then we are suddenly brought into the Divine objective for this, –That we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead. This has been God’s pattern and principle in recruiting and using men .He brings the man to the end of himself, he allows the man come to the futility of his wisdom and strenght.He puts him in situations where the man completely runs out of options, then He shows up to deliver them that trust in Him.
Today we have a demonically inspired teaching going around in the church that glorifies humanity and demotes Jesus to the status of man. The little gods theory that is very popular with the Faith movement elevates man to be of equal staus with God.I will do an extensive piece on this serious heresy that is called the Appolinarian heresy where John1:12&13 is used as proof text that we share God’s divinity.
Why This Blog?
For over twenty years the Lord called for my attention to the true state of His church , but like many today, i got caught up with the new-wave modern deceptive brand of christainity. All those years i have laboured in the traditional ministry as we know it and though there were times when i felt fustrated and even convinced that certain things were not just right, and that the church as i knew it was a fraud and a far cry to the Faith that was delivered to us by the Apostles, it was difficult to let go of the said wisdom and revelations i thought i had. Thank God for the ministry of the cross in our lives that can indeed bring us to the end of ourselves ,that we might no longer look into ourselves but to Him who raises the dead.
The past few years have been seasons of great delivrance for me. The Psalmist said “”For you o God have proved us.You have tried us as silver is tried refined and purified. You brought us into the net,the prison fortress, the dungeon, You laid a heavy burden upon our loins, You caused men to ride over our heads when we were postrate, we went through fire and through water, but You brought us out into a broad moist place.Ps66:10-12 Amp.
God Permitted through seasons of great trials difficulties in my life to come to an end in self. Just as the Psalmist and the Apostle exprienced , i was brought into a net where i exhausted every wisdom and strenght i had, and had no choice but to cry out to Him who can raise even the dead.
Graciuosly He did, and begn to reveal Himslf to me . That is the purpose for this blog. I;m now ready to begin to share some the things the Lord has been teaching and showing me particularly about the Deception and the Damnable heresies that have secretly crept into the church of Jesus Christ unnoticed.
Ezekiel was charged by God to show the condition of the house of the Lord to the house of Isreal. “‘You son of man, show the house to the house of Isreal that they may be ashmed of their inquities, and let them measure the pattern, and if they are ashmed of all they have done,show the form of the house and the fashion, and the going out thereof and the coming thereof, and all the forms , the ordinances,the laws thereof and write it in their sight that they may keep the whole form thereof and all the ordinances thereof and do them.
I pray the Lord for grace and wisdom as i set on this journey

Pastor T, I share some of the thoughts that have been expressed here. I have inevitably come to more or less the same conclusion about the fact that in some respects the ‘Faith Movement’, in particular the American Brand, has done some damage to the Church.
There were teachings that one just accepted as fact and then when certain aspects of one’s experience did not match up with the teaching – one ended up questioning the very basis of one’s belief. However ‘Truth’ stands the test of time and for the few who are determined to hold fast to the ‘doctrine that was once delivered’ – there is light at the end of the tunnel.
You join a list of others who are sounding the alarm about these and other ‘dodgy’ doctrines. May the Lord use you mightily in this area.
For me personally, if there’s an area that needs to be emphasised in these last days it’s the area of Christian Apologetics i.e. an emphasis on ’sound biblical doctrine’.
